Nursery Founder – Sue Parslow

Archfield House Nursery is a forward thinking family run private nursery for children aged 3 months to 5 years. It is situated in the Cotham area of Bristol in close proximity to the City Centre, Bristol University and Bristol Hospitals.
The nursery was founded in 1986 by Susan Parslow to support working families in the local area. Susan’s daughter, Rebecca Clevett took over as Director in 2005 after starting her family. Rebecca has had a successful career as an Early Years teacher and Assistant Headteacher at a large primary school in Brighton. She was also awarded Teacher of the Year for the South East region in 2003.

Nursery buildingRebecca has over 20 years professional experience and leadership which underpins our commitment to innovation that goes beyond the normal standards of early childcare and development. Archfield House Nursery has grown steadily over the years and has become recognised as offering quality childcare and early education within the local community as well as the wider nursery sector.

Our primary aim is to provide a safe, nurturing atmosphere where all children are able to thrive and achieve their full potential.
